I love my fingers, hands and arms

Amelia is sooooo cute. She loves gazing at her hands and of course I love watching her.

SSSHHHHH Baby Sleeping

Amelia thinks if she keeps her eyes closed, I'll stop taking photographs. Sorry Baby girl, you're wrong. Mommy is going to take millions of photos!!! Amelia, I think slept through the night, if that's what you call it. We went to bed at 11pm and woke up at 5am then went back to bed at 6am and woke up at 9am! It could have been a one timer for now. Amelia and Daddy are on an outing tonight at Vinnie F's house. I missed her as soon as they walked out the door. What does one do? I keep thinking I hear her sigh or her coo. I keep thinking the front door is going to open and my baby will be home, oh and my hubby love too:) I don't think Hazel and Miller know what to do either. OH it's too quite.

Family outing to San Clemente and the Ocean

Today we headed down to San Clemente in search of Tuberose, my favorite flower (one of them.) It was a beautiful sunny day! The truck was loaded: mom, dad, Amelia, Hazel May and Miller Lite...Indi opted to stay home:) We walked down to the ocean, so Amelia could get her first peek at the beautiful blue ocean. We walked through the farmers market and had a wonderful lunch. As soon as we got home, little missy, passed out and slept for 4 hours! The fresh sea air did her in.

Amelia meets her new friend Ava

Friday night Amelia got to meet her new friend Ava! We all had a wonderful time, bouncing, swaying, swinging and talking baby talk! Can't wait to do it again. XOXO

Amelia Smiles

and nothing else seems to matter! She melts my heart and sends it into over drive! She's our world our little girl! Amelia found her feet last night! It was the precious thing. We were waiting in the car to meet someone and I looked back and she had an intense stare going on at her feet. She'd raise a foot and watch it slowly come back down. She'd kick and a big smile would shine from chubby check to chubby check. It was so precious. Speaking of precious, Amelia met her friend Ava tonight. They shared a few glances. Ava is 6 months old and a cutie! Amelia is looking forward to many play dates! XOXOX

Basketball player? Track n Field? Ballerina? ......

What will our rock star baby be? Weighing in at 12 pounds and standing 24"!!!! Our little fighter is the size of a 4 monther! Above 95% in her age group. I would always laugh when I'd hear parents say that:) Now I know what they're talking about:) Well our strong Amelia had FIVE shots today!!!!! They were out of the cocktail shot and had to add another. Poor girl. She turned bright red and screamed so loud...hey maybe an opera singer? I was so close to pushing Christina, the nurse off of Amelia and say NO MORE SHOTS! Amelia's cries of pain killed me. After the shots, I picked her up and held her close to my chest. She instantly fell asleep while sucking on her little friend. Thank goodness. She's still asleep, every once and awhile sending out a couple shot outs, as if she was having a bad dream:( You're probably wondering...shots? At 6 weeks? yeah somebody messed up, but it was okay. I had no idea, I just followed the lead. Doc said they give them at 6 weeks in England, and she was okay. Okay, yes, okay (like the polish contractor in Under The Tuscan Sun.) Now she has 2 1/2 months till her next round. Daddy came with us to the doctor, thank goodness!

We came home last night, and Straty made a great dinner for Krista, Missy, Aunt Judy and I. Straty is of course quite the Chef! Now, if you put pork chops in a crock pot all day and they fell OFF of the bone, would that be considered pork chops or just tender pork? heeheeheehee...XOXOX Sorry Dad Hadj. if I knew they were going to be like that, I wouldn't of had minded. I dislike Pork chops on the bone that are BBQ'd or shak'n baked.....the rubbery fat and white texture pewy!

Amelia meets Auntie Missy today...

A visit from Great Auntie Judy

My Aunt Judy is in town to visit Amelia and the family. She's from the cold and snowy state of Illinois. We went to the SJC Mission today. It was a beautiful day to be outside. Sunny and in the 80's! Amelia was such a good baby girl. She road the stroller for a bit, ate lunch, road more, but was alert and smiling, then slept and then more food! She has her first shots tomorrow! Pray she doesn't have any after effects and that mommy doesn't cry:)
