Amelia and I spent the day with Auntie Sarah. Amelia had many firsts! Her first to South Coast Plaza, a mall and shopping!!!! Oh there are so many cute baby girl clothes for Spring. If only money grew on trees! Her first shoe shopping experience... Motherhood has done something to me...I bought these basket weave wedged heels with pink, green and yellow on them shoes!!!!! I also bought some "mommy" fancy shoes, oh and a "Jenn" pair:) I love my shoes and wanted Amelia to experience the true way to shoe shop! We also took Amelia to meet the little blue box for the first time... in to Tiffany's. Straty if you read this, I want the Duck charm for my bracelet with Amelia Marie on one side and January 14, 2008 on the other. Thank you! Oh and Amelia also had her first run in with the Easter Bunny! So, there we are, Auntie Sarah and I with Amelia starring at the Easter Bunny set. We asked if that Easter Bunny was real. Meaning is there someone in it? The Easter Bunny sat about 3' tall on a mound of grass. He moved his arms and head. We watched as the cutest baby boy was taking his picture. Sarah and I scooted a little closer to get a better look at this here Easter Bunny..."Should I do it?" I asked. We walked up the ramp to the Easter Bunny helper and asked if that was a real Easter Bunny. "of course it's the Easter Bunny" as she glares down to Amelia. As if she knew any better. No really though, is it mechanical or is there a little person in there, I asked. She was very vague and refused to answer if in fact that was the real Easter Bunny. So, we made our way up the ramp. I started pulling Amelia out of the stroller, when all of a sudden the Easter Bunny spoke. It was the freakiest thing...the 3' Easter Bunny was having a conversation with Sarah! It totally freaked the both of us out. It was the strangest voice asking how old Amelia was and how beautiful she was...I sat Amelia down next to this very peculiar Easter Bunny. In trying to get her to smile, I started the Poopie pants song! "Poopie pants...poopie pants...you can not dance in poopie pants." Now who was the freak...to top it off I added, "does the Easter Bunny have poopie pants? Huh baby, does the Easter Bunny have poopie pants?" Question should have been is the Easter Bunny wearing pants? I wasn't even thinking when I started to sing the song:) We walked away somewhat traumatized by this Easter Bunny. It was the cutest one ever, but it spoke!!!!! Sarah was laughing that I sang the poopie pants song and threw the Easter Bunny into it! Amelia was a trooper. She wasn't sure what to do at first. She just sat there. Then she noticed the Easter Bunny and blew him bubbles. Afterwards Amelia gave Auntie Sarah some poopie pants! We had a wonderful day! Thanks Auntie Sarah! Enjoy the photo...she's looking more and more like her Daddy!
