Nana's Birthday celebration for her 60th!en

We went to Five Crowns for Nana's birthday. Amelia loved getting dressed up in her girly dress and wearing but what else Stella and Dot's Girls collection! Amelia was given her own tea cup and cookie! She loved it. We also went to Nana's work the night before her birthday and decorated her office with a homemade banner, streamers, tootsie pops and love!

RTJ Trail

What an amazing trip with day after day of amazing golf courses. The weather was hot sunny we seemed to have found the hole in the rainy days that had been there prior to us showing up. Thanks to my friends that were able to make it.

"That was a fun day mama"

Amelia went to the dentist today. It was her 2nd time. She did so good. I'm always so impressed with the way they take care of the kids. Ame is speaking in full sentences. You can have a pretty good conversation with her now. She sure does love to talk. And boy is she a drama girl! "my tummy hurts" is her attention getter. "My tummy all better now mama!!!" Today was so funny. I was going to the restroom when all of a sudden I heard a door open and little pitter patter of feet. She came walking down the hall with her hands over her eyes, still waking up. She walked right passed the bathroom. I was shocked she opened her door. Then she turns back, " you goin' potty mama?" She complemented me on what I was wearing then asked for Jack and milk and snack. She did it again after her nap. She just walked into my bedroom while I was laying out clothes,"whatcha doin' mama?"

Stephanos is such the cutie. He's not feeling well, yet his big smiles wouldn't give you that impression. We head to the doctor tomorrow. He's grabbing for things right and left. He wants to eat people food, but gags when he tries. He thinks he's hot stuff right now, because he sits in high chairs and shopping carts now. He kicks those little hubby legs with such excitement. Last night, he figured out how to sit up in his crib. It's a whole new world to my little man. He loves is sissy so much. He watches her play and reaches up for her. It's so precious.

I head to my second year of attending HOOPLA for Stella and Dot in San Fran Thursday. I'm looking forward to seeing the new fall line and getting re-inspired to build my business! This year, I'm going alone. It'll be fun! I miss my babies already though:)

Picnic and the blues

Last night Jenny was off to see sugarland so i decided to see a concert of my own. Fountain Valley had a free one that happened to be blues and r&b so off the three of us went to picnic in the park. Amelia loves to dance after listening to about 6 songs she decided it was time to get up and dance so she did to my delight what a beautiful and rythmic little lady. She had so many people watching and smiling. I had to get baby brother involved, up we went all three of us dancing so much so amelia didn't want to go so we stayed until the sun set and the music stopped thank goodness that was at 8pm or i would have never gotten her home for bed.

July 4th 2010

What a great day that started with a 7am 5k run which i sadly went backwards from last year a minute but overall had a good run with my brother-in-law, Drew. Then back to the homestead where the kids were all decked out in the red white and blue to head off to the HB parade, which is suppose to be one of the largest parades west of the mississippi, where we met up with the Kasterko's, Johnson's, Miller/Penner's and Mckown's it was so cool seeing all the kids sitting on a blanket watching the parade go by and the reactions to the old fighter planes flying over head. Thank goodness it was overcast so it didn't get to hot because we were there for almost 3hrs then back to the home for a family fried chicken fest and games in the park. The big hit was the golf ball toss game gary picked up for 20 bucks we had many competitive games but my favorite was twice jenny and i came from way behind to beat Krista and drew. i do have to say jenny is a very aggresive thrower with that cannon, she could have lead the usa softball team to gold as a pitcher:) after 6 hours of fun in the sun and an amazing fried chicken dinner that the colonel would be jealous of we headed off to the johnsons to walk down to the beach and see the fireworks. This is always fun but tenuous because i have a child that doesn't like the loud boom booms. and i'm not talking about amelia, jenny-amelia loved them and wanted more and more. Fireworks daddy more fireworks even after the 30 min display over the ocean was done she wanted more and got it when the party poppers were broken out. now i thought this might frighten her being so close to the noise while before at the display they were far away but she couldn't get enough of it throwing the little explosions about-this has got to be the hadjiyannis blood in her love of all class d explosives. We finally wound the night up around midnight had to get in a full 4th of course.
