Kids say the darndest things...

Tonight Amelia asks me..."Mommy when I get older, can I have miss bunny, choo choo train blanket and my other miss bunny to sleep with?" I answered, "sure." Amelia "when I got to the hospital to get my baby, can I have miss bunny, my other miss bunny and choo choo train blanket?" I said, "sure." Amelia "If I forget to bring them, will you bring them to me?" I answer, "of course." Amelia, "you better write it down on the list, so you don't forget." I answer, "okay, I will." She has this imaginary list that I'm suppose to be keeping, so here I am making her list. I don't know where that came from, but it's so cute! She also told me today "I was loosing my mind."

We had a wonderful Easter today! Although I'm not fond of the Easter Bunny, I went ahead with making them baskets and told them they were from mommy and daddy. I don't think they cared too much. they were soooo excited to be going to Nana and Papa's house to hunt for eggs. My favorite part was when she made Uncle Drew come out of the Cars tent as Jesus coming out of the tomb. She told him to shout out and tell everyone "Jesus is alive!" We spoke a lot about the meaning of Easter this week and all along I thought she wasn't listening to me...she was! One morning at breakfast Stephanos told me "Jesus died for Auntie Sarah and Molly." It was so cute, made my heart melt. He's learning too! Jesus is alive and living in our hearts!
