HB Street Fair a must do for everyone!

OK, so if you know me, you know how much I LOVE going to San Clemente for their street fair. I used to go every Sunday just to get a bundle of sunflowers and some veggies. Tonight Mom suggested we head downtown to the "farmers market." It's like the heaven doors opened and the angels sang a sweet song, as we walked our way through veggie stands, fruit stands, flowers and so much more! I called Straty to come check it out and Grandpa met us there as well. What fun it was to have Amelia touch the veggies and taste yummy fruit like a plum/nectar combo. I got some green beans, carrots, asparagus and plum/nectar for the little one. Lots of cooking tomorrow. Great idea Mom!!!! We're also getting ready for escrow to close on our RSM house. The countdown until we say our final good-bye. A sad but sweet good-bye.

This past weekend...

We had a visit from Auntie Krista. She spent the night Friday night and Saturday morning we walked to Alice's in the Park for breakfast. We had yummy pumpkin muffins and then took a walk around the park. Amelia LOVES going to the park. Seeing the ducks, geese, lake and touching whatever she can get her little hands on. Sunday we walked to Bench Park Cafe for lunch with Auntie Sarah, Grandma and Grandpa and the hounds. Amelia wasn't too sure how Auntie Sarah's nose got like that, but was sure going to figure it out. She's such the Curious George.

Amelia is getting ready for Halloween...

Last night after bath time, Amelia caught a second wind. She's normally exhausted from her bath and ready for a warm bottle and bed, but not last night! We put on her new pj's grandma bought her and practiced her Halloween faces. Her scary face and Frankinstien face were my two favorites. This morning I placed her Cheerios out for her to play with. She usually drops them on the floor for the hounds, but not today!!! I turned around to see why she was so quiet, and she was stuffing her face with Cheerios. Yeah...she's learning to feed herself.

Hav'n fun

Today we went to the RSM house to pick up some items and give the dogs baths. While I was spraying down the patio, Amelia reached out to "touch" the water. Minutes later, she was soaked and laughing. She was so sad when the water turned off. She had so much fun. Tonight we headed to church for a special event. She sat on Auntie Krista's lap, tugging at her lip gloss lips, hair and teeth. She enjoyed tugging on the ladies hair in front of her as well as Police Officer Bobby's uniform. Ame loves going to church. Daddy made it to Phili. He's visiting tonight with his mom and dad. Tomorrow he's in the golf tournament. Good Luck Daddy!!!!

Yesterday at the Park

We had fun walking around the lake. Amelia was in ah of the lake and ducks. She had fun playing in the grass and with the leaves. It was a beautiful day!

Amelia, Miss Independant

This morning Amelia decided she wanted to try feeding herself. I'm not certain if smearing oatmeal all over your arms and hands is feeding yourself, but she tried. She also started this new thing crossing her fingers. It's so cute. Amelia loves cherrios, yellow part of the egg and blueberry and bananas with oatmeal. For lunch she loves cottage cheese or apple yogurt with avocado and the yummy chicken daddy made. Oh and she loves salmon! I'm so happy she enjoys her finger foods. She's not feeding herself, but loves to accidently drop her food and watch the hounds clean up.

BIG DADDY CAT IS AWAY!!!! Let the mice play:<)

I'm feeling a little Under The Tuscan Sun com'n on! A bottle of wine, a gallon of paint...hummmmmm I do have an orange gallon of paint I could paint our pink bathroom:) Hummm...Amelia hasn't been broken in to what happens when daddy is gone golf'n. Watch out baby girl, it's time to roll up your sleeves. OK, we'll start off with a walk in the park for now.

We should be all caught up...(look @ "Older Posts, you may have missed one)

It's been two weeks now since we've moved into our new home. It's been a roller coaster of emotions. We haven't officially said our good-byes to RSM, not until 10/5. Straty still goes there after to work to pick up a load of things we left behind. I've been down a couple times, to do some cleaning and crying. Remember the one scene in "Under The Tuscan Sun" where she lays on the floor and with a sigh says "home." Yep...that was me, I did that one day. The adjustment wasn't easy at first, but our Park Place is growing on me. It's been wonderful being closer to the family. Even the crazy Aunties who drive Amelia around like a mad woman at the mall. Weaving in and out of people. Tonight we had dinner out with one of our gift cards. Straty leaves for Phili, so it's our last night together till Monday. He's playing in a golf tournament and able to visit with his mom and dad and friends. Good Luck Daddy!!!! Come home safely! Love you babe.

A visit from Auntie Sarah and Dean

It was so funny. Grandma stopped in for a visit and then Auntie Sarah and Dean came walking in from the park. "They were in the neighborhood." I came walking around the corner and the six of them looked like they were posing for a family portrait. I had to grab the camera! It was a cute photo op. Then the dogs needed some Auntie time the next day. They were so confused and tired of running around wondering what was going on.

We got our gourds, we got our gourds! It's Fall Y'all!!!!

Auntie Krista came bearing gifts that night. She brought over a house warming gift to kick us off for fall. I fell in love with these gourds her boss creates, when I saw them on his blog. They are soo gourdgeous!!!!!!!! I love the photo of Amelia looking at her Auntie and saying "Now don't tell grandma that I almost pulled the top of her gourd, got it, Auntie?" She loved playing on the dining room table!! Thanks Sis!!!!

Amelia's first bath in her new home

"Um...these bubbles don't taste so good!!!" She had a blast in her bubble bath. Mommy went a little crazy on the bubbles. We're going to have to move her to the tub soon! Our cabinets can't handle to the soaking of Amelia. She had water all over the window and across the kitchen floor. Short Hazel May didn't know what to think when water kept flying out of the kitchen sink and onto her head. She was dodging the splashes.

Day I in our new home...9/9/08

Amelia's room was the first to be put together. After a long day of moving, we tucked her into bed. She spent a while looking around. Looking at the big ceiling fan hanging above her head, and then closed her eyes for a good night sleep. During the day Grandma came and took her for a walk in the park. Amelia had her gangster hat on:) What a day....

September 9th, Moving Day!!!!

I was in event mode that day. The event was moving our family from RSM to HB. At times I wanted to call it off and hide in my closet just to cry, but I kept it together...until Dad walked through the door. I had a small relapse, but got it back together and kept on truck'n. Amelia was sooooo good that day. She played away while things in her home were being moved out and loaded onto the big truck. It was a weird day. Usually when you move, people are there to say good-bye, but it was a normal day on Telliz, except for the big truck on the street. We loaded up and headed for HB. Thanks Dad for stopping by and playing with Amelia. Your support was wonderful. A huge thank you for everyone who helped pack! The family pulled it together the last few days and got us packed and ready to go. Your continued support and unconditional love amazes me, humbles me and confirms the reasons we moved to HB. Thank you, Love you!!!!!
