It's 2am, my heart cries out to you...Dear Heavenly Father I want to lift up to you my family in IL. Baby Stella took a fall tonight and she's fighting for her life. I can't stop thinking of cousin Shannon right now and how her heart is feeling. I can't stop thinking of my Aunt Stella and Uncle Russ and what's going on in their minds. Father I pray for a miracle. I pray little Stella will have a chance at life on earth. That she will make it with a strong will. That she'll grow with you father and share your grace father. She's just two months old father. Please be with the doctors. Give them the knowledge and strength to take care of your child. Wrap your arms around Shannon and give her peace. Allow her to feel your presence father, your love, your fatherly care. Parenthood is a wonderful and a very special act. I praise you for giving us hearts that could love someone so much you can feel your heart break. There's nothing more beautiful than a love for a child, even if it's only for a moment. I pray you're with Aunt Stella and Uncle Russ as they watch their child in pain. How theirs hearts ache father. Give them strength to be strong for Shannon. To forget what happened, but what your hands can heal. I can't even imagine what the love of a grandchild is, but I pray Stella and Russ are there and able to love on Baby Stella. Oh father, I weep with sadness for my family because I can't even imagine what my life was like without Amelia. Life is so precious and so short. You blink and a moment is gone, a memory passes, a thought becomes a forgot. Life is so beautiful how it touches a human soul, a spirit. How your body can ache because of love. Life is a miracle. How we were made, leaves me in awe of you. Give life to Baby Stella, give strength, support and your love to Shannon, Aunt Stella and Uncle Russ. Give a Miracle, I'm asking you, please...

You snooze, you loose...
The dog thinks he's a human!!!! He's so funny. Every night when it's time to go to bed, we round up the dogs for potty time. No matter where they are in the house the come outside. Well I heard Miller go into our bedroom around 8pm, but never looked in on him. When 11:30pm rolled around and Miller wasn't coming downstairs to go potty, I went up to see where he was...he had already claimed his spot on the bed. Mind you, he used to be the one that came in around 1am and nudged Straty to move over. Now he's getting up there early to get a better spot. As soon as potty time was complete, Miller headed back upstairs along with Amelia and again took his spot. I came in later and tried with all my might to roll him over...it wasn't happ'n. I squeezed my way between Amelia and Miller. Hazel slept between my feet. Needless to say, I wasn't moving at all in bed!!! Sweet Dreams!

She likes the bath....she hates the bath....she like the bath....
Last night we gave Amelia a bath and she didn't fuss!!! She stayed in it the longest and played with her feet. Afterwards she posed for daddy. She loves to have things over her face. I think she's going to be a gypsy or belly dancer:)

Happy Birthday Auntie M and Booboo!!!!
Amelia slept till 8am this morning! She went to bed at 11:30pm, awake. She's doing so well with sleeping without assistance and for long periods in the night. I should probably take que and go to bed when she does, but I piddle around on the computer till too late. She's pretty good on a schedule now too! So proud! You should see all the wonderful expressions she makes! Her big smile, the uh-oh round lips, her little pouty lips and when she wants kisses. She loves giving kisses to daddy. After I changed her diaper this morning she looked at me with her mouth open, wanting kisses. It was so precious!!!!! Yesterday she wore purple in honor of Auntie M and her photo taken next to lilacs. Today she wears cherries in honor of Auntie Booboo. I thought No Doubt would wear cherries???? Happy Birthday to you both! Love you!!! Amelia sends her girl power fist at ya! xo

Lui the Lion and Mike the Mouse
Amelia loves her friends!!!! Grandma says the story goes Mike the Mouse lives in Lui the Lion's crown because of his strong and deep voice. He helps Lui when there is danger, by using his powerful voice, since Lui's voice is soft and kind hearted. Lui's paw also plays the song "Let Me Call You Sweetheart," which my Grandma H used to sing to us. Now Amelia's Grandpa sings it to her.

Amelia knows how to give kisses
Hello! We survived the weekend! The ride back was very exciting at times and I don't mean the yippeeee kind...more like...I'm getting car sick need fresh air. Straty took the 23 from Ventura to Malibu. We went over a gynormous mountain with a very curvy road, towing Goldie of all things. It was a magestic view of the mountains and the ocean. Goldie held on tight as we made our trek. Amelia survived too. She's the greatest! She slept and played with Lui the Lion and Mike the Mouse in the car. She fussed a little to let us know she was getting hungry. We made one stop for lunch. Having Goldie is great for camping but for pit stops! Straty made us sandwiches while I fed Amelia. We also changed her in the trailer. The dogs napped on the bed until we were done.
Amelia also knows how to kiss. It's a wet one, but she loves to give them. Sometimes she sits there smiling at you and then opens her mouth real wide, asking for kisses. She's been fighting sleep this morning. FINALLY after 3 poopy pants and two bottles she passed out. Her final fit was trying to get Mike the Mouse out of Lui the Lion's crown. She bit on Lui the Lion's foot and then grabbed him and tossed him on his head. She finally had Mike the Mouse close to her. She held onto the crown and watched Mike the Mouse as her eyes began to get heavy. She's precious.

Pismo Beach RV Village
We survived our first camping trip as a family of six. Amelia did a great job. She was up most of Saturday during the day, so she slept a lot today. God's beauty amazes me. The grande ocean! It was a wonderful time, minus the mishaps or no-haps from Goldie, such as: leak under sink, no running water, NO HEATER, lock broke at front door....just to name a few:) The park is wonderful!!! and of course it was great to see our Godchildren Jack and Aubrey!!!! My goal this month is to get Goldie up and running and for us to learn how to use her properly! Our next adventure will be Temecula. If anyone knows anyone who works on vintage trailers, please let me know! We'll be back here, hopefully soon. Tonight we walked into town. We came back and Straty grilled up some hamburgers and hot dogs. We stayed in the trailer most of the night, due to high winds plus sand. We head home tomorrow. Straty's sister arrives Thursday! We can't wait for her to meet Amelia. XOXOXO
