We still a few things to finish, like glass doors on the shower:)  But we are very pleased with what we got done in a week and a half!  HGTV Weekend Warriors!!!!  Ok, so we didn't physically do the work.  I think we did the hardest part though, the demo, but we saved a TON of money!  Almost a thousand bucks!!!!  $20 to rent the trailer $40 for dump fee and a few sore bodies! Totally worth it though!

Happy 4th of July! Happy 100th B-day HB

4th of July was a crazy one.  We slept in and ate a BIG breakfast at Polly's, just the three of us.  Then we headed over to the Johnson's home for some swimming and BBQ.  At that point I was starting to crash.  I think it hit me, I needed to get home ASAP or I was going to loose it right then and there.  I made it home only to focus on, do we take Ame to the fireworks?  She's exhausted, but it's the 100th celebration!  We had already missed the parade.  We decided to go.  On our way there, I lost it.  My body had been moving for so long and my mind was non stop that when everything was said and done, I crashed.  I cried all the way to the Johnson's house.  I started laughing though because I was crying like a baby!  I kept it together during the fireworks, trying to "be happy" but was sooooo happy to be going home.  The show was amazing and Ame hated each one!  She burried her face into my chest and then in daddy's.  She was so precious.  Hope everyone had a wonderful 4th! (Thx KM for photos)

The day after the 4th! The house was filled with flowers, presents and DJ party stuff.  Amelia and Aubrey decided to try on the hats and glasses.  Silly girls, it was so cute.  After a yummy breakfast by Straty, we headed to the park for a walk.  It was fun seeing our Godchildren and playing with them in our home.

Mr. & Mrs. Roberts

Who's the sexy driver?  I'll have to dance with him!

After the yummy dinner prepared by POSH, fabulous dancing and a D'lic cake from Great Dane, it was time to say good-bye to Mr. & Mrs. Roberts.  They left sitting on the back of Straty's Mustang with the guests lined up with sparklers!  What a night.  My sister is married!!!!!  Have fun in Maui!  Love you both.

WEDDING DAY OF KRISTA AND DREW!!!!

Drew and Krista decided to meet prior to the ceremony.  They shared a beautiful moment together!  Then the bridal party joined them for lots of photos!  Check out the girls cute shoes!!

OK, I'm only going to smile ONE time Auntie Krista!

Thank you to Emily, Krista's friend, for the phoots.  I took them off her facebook!  I didn't get many pre wedding photos.  I was running around ensuring the reception was going to be there when we arrived at our house:)

Rehearsal and Dinner

Amelia successfully walking down isle!
Amelia received a heart shaped necklace from Auntie Krista and Uncle Drew.
Mom & Dad got this really cool family tree water coloring
Krista surprised Drew with a birthday celebration.  His b-day is on the 11th, so he'll be honeymooning.  Poor guy.

Happenings during all the business

Amelia is still trying to organize her own dresser drawers.  Even this morning, she pulled out all of her clothing.  She knows how much I love to fold laundry!!!!!  She also LOVES playing with Miller.

Final dress fitting.  Ame was busy making calls to ensure wedding would be a success.
Auntie Sarah had another Bridal Shower, given to her by the lovely ladies at Dean's church.

Bon Fire a week ago today

My goodness I can't believe it's almost been a week since Krista and Drew got married!  The festivities began with a Bon Fire at the beach on Wednesday.  It was a tad bit windy.  We should have taken a que from that night for the night of the reception.  It was windy, like Chicago:)  It was fun though!  Lit'l missy wouldn't eat though, so we headed to Polly's for some pot pie.  Sadly that's where she had a run in with the floor.  She did a face plant into the carpet.  Not knowing the next day she'd have a swollen red eye.
