Sick boy

Our little Stephanos has a fever and hasnt been eating as well as usual so we found out he got a viral infection back that he had last october so unfortunatly he isnt able to go to the mountains with sissy. He passed out on the kitchen table at dinner last night and couldn't keep his eyes open. so I moved him to the couch and he just didn't move. Poor little buddy!!!!

Mother's Day Weekend

What a great weekend that started with my playing some golf with a couple of friends unfortunately i have an elbow injury that i may be going to the doctor to see if it is more than just a tennis/golf elbow. Saturday Jenny had to work so the kids and i headed to the horse center in the hb park where they were celebrating The Kentucky Derby. There was face painting and horseshoe decorating as well as music and dancing on the stage that Sarah and Dean were married on. But my favorite part was kicking off our shoes and playing chase on the grass. And then we had a visitor, Munchkin, a miniture horse we were able to pet. On Mother's day stephanos and i got up early and made breakfast for jenny but she got up before we were able to bring it to her in bed. We all headed off to church which i'm happy to say stephanos now doesn't cry anymore, he likes to play while we head to the service-next step is removing the binky. After church we headed home for the mothers day cookout where we chose from a variety of steaks and i grilled them up in addition to the domathes appetizers with mashed potatoes or rice with sliced and sauteed zuchini yummmmmmm. Then we had a great walk in the park where the squirrels were all over the place eating up peanuts. The only thing missing were Drew, Krista and my mom. Next year maybe we can have all the moms together?

Easter 2011

So the Easter Bunny was in overdrive this season, I hope the kids have all their teeth by 2012:) We went to service on Saturday and it was very nice, then when we came home there was an amazing dinner cooked for the whole family by the Bobars and Roberts. On Sunday morning the kids woke up to bunny poop (jelly beans) and partially eaten carrots on the front stoop. Each had wonderful Easter Baskets Daddy included then off to the yard for the egg hunt. Later in the day we went over to the Hegenbarts for Dinner where we were joined by the Bobar clan extended family. What a great day!!!

Butterflies

This weekend Amelia, Stephanos and I took a walk to the hill again and when we were getting close, a yellow and white butterfly was waltzing around Amelia when she said, "I can't reach the butterfly, only the wind can reach the butterfly!!!" What a beautiful way to put it....

So yesterday the kids and I decided to take a nice long walk through the park and up the hill which is a pretty big hill so I asked Amelia if she wanted to get in BOB and I would push her but she said "I am strong, I can do it!!" And she did.

April fools weekend

On Saturday we decided to do a little garage sale hopping and found a couple of really good deals a train table for stephanos a big airplane that opens up into a display showcase for princesses and a bike hitch to pull the kids around. But the really fun part was in the neighborhood the garagesale was there is a school that has a bunch of animals and a play area.

Dinner last night

So Amelia was enjoying her apple juice out of a teacup when she must have swallowed wrong and choked then spit up a nice portion of apple juice on her shirt so i put a towel under her shirt up to her neck to keep the wet shirt off of her and she started smiling and laughing so i asked did she look like daddy and she said no i have a baby in here.......She makes me laugh.
